James Comey, Andrew McCabe Have Permanently Disgraced FBI

Once ranked among the most revered law enforcement agencies in the world, the unprofessional and self-serving conduct of two top officials have lowered the FBI to an international disgrace.

Former Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigations James Comey and Deputy Director Andrew McCabe have been exposed as leakers, liars and political hacks that may have attempted to throw the last election to candidate Hillary Clinton.

Since their rightful dismissals for misconduct, new information has surfaced about their underhanded dealings. Both have gone on a media rampage to undermine others and plead their case to like-minded Democrats. Although their recent below-the-belt rantings have earned them headlines and exposure on left-wing, fake news outlets, their sustained scurrilous activity in the spotlight may have tarnished the FBI’s reputation for generations.

“Lying” James Comey

Americans everywhere know the former FBI director’s narrative all too well. When front and center on the Clinton email investigation, the fallen law man succumbed to political pressure. Directed by the Obama Administration’s Attorney General Lorretta Lynch, Comey downplayed the language best used to describe Clinton’s potentially willful disregard for national security.

Although Comey did not directly answer to A.G. Lynch, he took her directive to call the FBI investigation a “matter” and later accepted revisions to the agency’s findings that she was may have been criminally negligent. Despite evidence pointing to culpability, Comey held a press conference to clear Clinton by saying she was “careless” but no reasonable jury would consider her actions criminal. Many legal experts and Americans disagree.

Following a Trump Administration hunt for leakers, Comey was dismissed and the illegal and unauthorized information funneled to the left-leaning media stopped. Pres. Trump has since called Comey a “leaker,” slime ball” and “liar.”

Political pundits surmise that once James Comey got a taste for the limelight, he morphed into a media addict. He narcissistically embraced the national attention and calls to appear on talk shows, give lectures and public appearances. After his fully justified dismissal by Pres. Trump, Comey appears to be lashing out like a garden variety disgruntled employee. He is using the liberal bias against Pres. Trump to stump a “tell all” book about his extremely brief interactions with the administration.

Never in the history of the country has a former top law enforcement official stooped so low as to publish a salacious National Inquirer-styled work that calls into question the integrity of current and former leaders. Although the fake news media fittingly provided Comey a platform right alongside porn star Stormy Daniels, centrist political commentary has been anything but supportive.

“With a new book out, the former director of the FBI is set to launch a media blitz in which he’ll seek to portray himself as a straight-shooting public servant who lost his job by standing up to a corrupt president,” WBUR recently stated in a political commentary. “What a crock. James Comey is a national disgrace. As director of the FBI, he had one basic moral duty: to remain impartial in the midst of a rancorous election. He failed miserably.”

Other sources refer to Comey as “self-righteous” and that his “higher loyalty” paints others as unfit and unworthy. In reality, it is Comey that disgraced his office and agency with his pathetic attempt to impugn the president by claiming the widely discredited Pee Pee Dossier may have merit. Comey continues to make the FBI look like a carnival side show.

Self-Serving Andrew McCabe

The exact details of the Comey’s firing remain somewhat shrouded. Americans are not certain about the inner-workings of the Clinton email investigation, or what materials he may have leaked. Far less speculation exists about ex-FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe.

Unlike Comey, several of McCabe’s transgressions have been made public due to an investigation conducted by the impartial Inspector General’s (IG) office. The official report cites McCabe as making unauthorized leaks to left-leaning media outlets regarding a Clinton Foundation investigation.

“[W]e concluded that McCabe’s decision to confirm the existence of the CF investigation through an anonymously sourced quote, recounting the content of a phone call with a senior department official in a manner designed to advance his personal interests at the expense of department leadership, was clearly not within the public interest exception,” the IG report states. The IG reports goes on to point out that McCabe “lacked candor” in testimony given to Congress.

McCabe claims his firing was simply an effort to undermine the FBI and himself personally. Unfortunately for him, Inspector General Michael Horowitz was appointed by Pres. Obama. It appears McCabe may have been blind-sided by at least one Obama appointee doing his job.

Comey and McCabe may continue their muck-raking charade, but the American public isn’t buying it. A recent Rasmussen Poll shows the vast majority, upwards of 65 percent, believe James Comey should be prosecuted.
