Sex and the Clintons: A History of Scandals

The recent sex scandal involving powerful movie mogul Harvey Weinstein has many on the left running for cover, and the Clintons have once again come under fire.

Of course, Bill and Hillary are not virgins to the dark underbelly of sex scandals. In fact, they have been front and center to some of the most widely publicized stories about sexual misconduct. From Monica to Harvey and beyond, this is some of the filthiest and reprehensible sexual baggage the Clintons carry around.

Bill Clinton And Other Women

While much of America stood aghast as Hillary stood by and attacked the women who claimed her husband had mauled them, the silence of left-wing feminists was deafening. Former President Clinton has been publicly accused of taking sexually inappropriate actions toward at least three women.

Juanita Broaddrick called Bill Clinton out as her rapist on national television. As allegations began to surface about the former president, she went on the record saying that he sexually assaulted her when he was Arkansas attorney general in 1978.

Kathleen Willey told a national television audience that Clinton had sexually assaulted her during his first term as president after being subpoenaed as a witness in the Paula Jones sexual harassment litigation.

Paula Jones sued the then-sitting president for sexual harassment and the case led to his formal impeachment on perjury charges. Clinton settled the case out of court for $850,000. Clinton admitted to affairs with both Monica Lewinsky and Gennifer Flowers after public denials and attempts to discredit these women.

Bill Clinton carried on close ties with one of the most loathsome convicted pedophiles, Jeffrey Epstein. It has been widely reported that he took 26 trips on the so-called “Lolita Express” that has been cited as a forced prostitution plane. Allegations of underage sex slaves being used en route to Epstein’s private Caribbean “Orgy Island” have surfaced. Reports also noted that Clinton waved off his secret Service detail from boarding with him.

Epstein, a donor to Clinton’s political campaign, was sentenced to only 30 months after being convicted of only a single charge of soliciting prostitution while dozens of child abuse victims were paid off.

Hillary and Congressman Anthony Weiner

Lost in the criminal conviction of former Congressman Anthony Weiner for sexting underage females and the Hillary Clinton email scandal is the part that the Clintons introduced Weiner to Hillary’s top aide, Huma Abedin.

Apparently, Weiner was a Clinton insider and pairing her confidant with him made a certain amount of sense. After the fallout and Clinton’s presidential bid loss, Abedin was paid a substantial sum of money that has been referred to as “patronage” by media outlets.

The Clinton-Weinstein Connection

When interviewed about the allegations that Hollywood’s Harvey Weinstein spent his career doubling as a sexual predator, Hillary’s response was that President Trump is a “sexual assaulter.”

That response isn’t nearly as flabbergasting as her sleeping through Benghazi or denigrating the women that accused her husband of sexual assault, rape or the cigar incident in the White House. Only Hillary could attempt such and obvious and lame attempt to deflect from the fact that Harvey Weinstein was a Clinton insider that donated to political campaigns, conducted on-TV interviews promoting the ex-president and put money in the pockets of Chelsea Clinton via the Clinton Foundation.

The former first daughter has also dodged questions about Weinstein donating upwards of $250,000 to the Clinton Foundation. When asked if Chelsea planned to reject the money, she ignored questions while Bill Clinton used his Secret Service detail to keep reporters away.

Weinstein also made campaign contributions to Hillary’s failed presidential bid. Unfortunately for the seemingly endlessly embattled Clintons, the ties run longer and deeper than a few paltry donations.

The Clintons and Weinstein have been cooperating on political and networking business for more than 20 years. He’s been a helpful fundraiser, freind and donor to both Bill and Hillary’s political pursuits. All told, Weinstein reportedly hauled in more than $1.5 million for Democratic candidates such as Bill, Hillary, Chuck Schumer and former President Barack Obama.

So close were his ties that Weinstein once introduced President Obama at a $35,000-per-plate dinner by saying, “Fighting for Planned Parenthood and protecting women’s rights, this president has fought the good fight. You can make the case that he’s the Paul Newman of American presidents.”

The Obamas let their daughter, Malia, intern with Weinstein just after graduating high school. Yikes.

Yes, the seedy ties run quite deep between Dems and Weinstein — the Clintons in particular. But perhaps the most telling of all was when Harvey Weinstein handed Bill Clinton the maximum allowable donation of $10,000 to the former president’s legal defense fund to combat the allegations brought by women for sexual assault.

If the Democratic Party is truly the bastion of progressive values and women’s rights, they might need to seriously rethink letting the Clintons remain the face of their movement.
