Conservative Americans have cause to be concerned about the future — because the rapid left has been cut loose.
As the Trump administration comes to an end and the Biden Administration comes into power with majorities in both the House and the Senate, President Biden has repeatedly stated that he wants unity. Unfortunately, the Democratic Party doesn’t seem to be on board.
Rather than celebrating their victories, they are dialing up the vitriol and rhetoric. Rather than getting down to business, they are planning, even demanding, revenge. With calls to do the following:
- Make it impossible for people in the Trump administration to work again.
- Throw them in jail.
- Establish “truth and reconciliation” commissions.
- Convict President Trump for his second impeachment after he has left office, so he cannot run for President again.
It’s not enough for them to win. The Democratic Party is seeking to demoralize “the enemy.” They want Trump supporters to know that the Democratic Party believes the 70+ million people who voted for Trump are on par with some of the worst dictators in the history of the world:
- Saddam Hussein
- Adolf Hitler
- Kim Jong-un
- Vlad the Impaler
They’ve identified the Trump voters as the evil in our midst and they are declaring war on half of the citizens of this country who voted for Trump, those who worked with President Trump, and those who continue to support the former President. Leaders within the party are comparing Trump supporters to members of Al-Qaeda and labeling them as domestic terrorists for nothing more than their decision to vote for the enemy.
Now there is talk of a 9-11 type of commission (don’t you love how democrats all get together on their talking points) to explore what happened at the Capitol Building and why it wasn’t handled differently.
Of course, all this is taking place while the Democrats continue to ignore, overlook, and approve of the violence taking place (that continues today) in cities like New York, Portland, and Seattle, but that is news for another story. And somehow, every person who supports Trump is a white supremacist, too. Obviously, Larry Elder, Candace Owens, the Hodge Twins, Ben Carson, and so many others will be pleased to know they’ve been lumped into this group of evil people.
The truly terrifying talk, though, is that of re-educating people or deprogramming Trump supporters so that the rest of the country can be safe. AOC wants to reintroduce the de-radicalization programs the Trump administration de-funded and to double, triple, or even quadruple funding for them.
At a time when conservative voices are facing increasing censorship and being outright silenced in many public spaces, talk of deprogramming and reeducation camps are frightening words to hear indeed.
