Recently, we covered the deceptive tactics Democrats are using to skew the results of the upcoming election. These tactics include using leading questions like, “Do you support Trump’s divisive rhetoric?” and polling in urban areas where support for Trump is likely to be low.
Political commentator Dick Morris commented on this recently saying that this is part of a Democrat “suppression strategy.” This is a well-known maneuver that has been around for generations, and frankly, it has cropped up in every society where Democracy rules. What’s amusing about this is the fact that this tactic is bound to backfire. But why?
The reason this tactic is bound to fail is that it is based on Democrat psychology. It’s hardly worth mentioning that Democrats and Republicans think differently. This division has even been compared to the division between the left and right sides of the brain, and to the tendency of bees to separate into factions supporting the scout they believe has found food.
Democrat psychology would be depressed by a belief that their candidate is behind in the polls. Therefore, they believe that making conservatives think Trump is behind will cause us to sink into our beers in resignation. But we are not like them. If we believed our guy was losing, we would rally to support him. If the Left was intelligent, it would use the opposite tactic. They would report that a Trump victory is a sure thing and that Biden might as well stay in his basement, that Kamala Harris might as well stop pretending to smile and hang it up.
But they simply cannot do that. Why? Because it would be a violation of their religious adherence to the Leftist narrative. You see, they simply can’t break the narrative – even if it would give them a strategic advantage. It’s strange. You would think that their best minds would realize this. You would think they would realize that using the same strategy that cost Hillary Clinton the election in 2016 will not work.
It’s hard to believe that they don’t see their tactics as flawed. It’s almost as if they are devoted to the very act of lying. It would seem as if deception is something akin to a sacrament to them. They lie when it invigorates their political opponents. They cheat using the same tricks that failed last election.
It’s not unlike the way they obsess over Roe v. Wade, fearing that the ability of mothers to have their unborn babies ripped apart in the womb might be taken away. They perseverate on this at the cost of all other issues, revealing a kind of liberal religiosity.
Hatred for Donald Trump has become the newest Liberal sacrament. They can say nothing positive about him, even if it helps their cause. They have to speak ill of him, of his chances of victory – even of his family and his underage child Barron.
They are a cult of failure, and they are doomed to experience the very failure that they hold dear.
