Glenn Beck: Trump Losing in 2020 is “The End” of America

Conservative political commentator and Blaze Media founder Glenn Beck issued a strong warning for America on a recent airing of Fox News’ “Hannity.” Beck said that if Donald J. Trump loses the presidential election in 2020, it will result in the “end of the country as we know it.”

The Blaze Media founder told Sean Hannity during the interview that Americans aren’t guaranteed of anything even if Trump wins again. He emphatically stated, “If the Republicans don’t win in this next election, I think we are officially at the end of the country as we know it. We may not survive even if we win, but we definitely don’t if the Republicans lose with Donald Trump.”

Beck mentioned that he’s predicted in the past that the people who oppose conservatism would join forces in order to disrupt government and society. He said it’s now occurring.

“I said what was coming and the last few steps were that the radicals, the anarchists, the Islamists, the socialists would all gather together, they would not be working together, plotting together, but they would see the opportunity and they would all come together and work to destabilize Europe and America,” Beck said. “And that is exactly what is happening.”

Beck further noted that the increase of socialism and radicalism within Democratic ranks are reaching a feverish pitch.

“When are we going to have our Labour Party movement, where you have that in England where the Socialist Party has noticed ‘Wow, we are just full of radicals and anti-Semites? Members of the Labour Party in England are leaving saying ‘This is too radical for me.’ When are the average people going to leave the Democratic Party, or at least wake up?” Beck added.

The radio host wasn’t always in favor of a Trump victory on election night. During the 2016 Republican presidential primary, Beck was a staunch supporter of Texas Senator Ted Cruz. After Cruz dropped out of the race, Beck didn’t throw his support behind Trump. In fact, he often vehemently opposed him.

After an “Access Hollywood” tape showing Trump making inappropriate remarks about women became public, Beck proclaimed on Facebook, “It is not acceptable to ask a moral, dignified man to cast his vote to help elect an immoral man who is absent decency or dignity If the consequence of standing against Trump and for principles is indeed the election of Hillary Clinton, so be it. At least it is a moral, ethical choice.” Beck said that a Trump vote in 2016 was “validating his immorality, lewdness, and depravity.”

But, last year, Beck appeared to have a change of heart about the President. On his radio show in May of 2018, the Blaze Media founder vowed to vote for Trump in the 2020 election. Beck said, “I will vote for him in 2020! Gladly!” He cited the media’s negative coverage of Trump as the reason for his stunning reversal of opinion. Addressing the President personally, Beck stated, “I will tell you — the things that you have done as the president are remarkable! Remarkable!” The Blaze Media founder made these remarks while wearing a red “Make America Great Again” hat.

Of course, some have suggested Beck’s recent embrace of Trump is a career move. When he made his announcement to vote for Trump last year, a source told the liberal Daily Beast that Beck’s turnaround was a “desperate and predictable act of a man hanging on to his last shred of relevance by a thread. Trying desperately to woo back the massive number of fans lost when he opposes Trump. Sad.”

Regardless of whether Beck’s new devotion to Trump is sincere or career motivated, his warning for America rings true. The 2020 Democratic presidential candidates are promoting policies that would fundamentally change the country. Just a few examples include reparations for the descendants of slaves, Medicare for all, sweeping climate change legislation, and upending the U.S. Supreme Court. With ideas so progressive, one can only wonder if other conservatives involved in the Never Trump movement will change course and work to keep the current occupant at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
