Despite the spread of violence and suppression of free speech across America, Antifa criminals continue to operate with impunity. A petition has reached the White House to have them named a Domestic Terror Organization, and yet the violence continues to escalate as these black-clad thugs support Sharia Law over the U.S. Constitutional and grow bolder in their attacks on law enforcement.
While conservatives routinely reject Antifa’s actions, liberal elites are openly supporting lawlessness. These are just some of the recent criminal acts by Antifa thugs.
Antifa Fights FOR Sharia Law in Kansas City
When the conservative anti-Sharia group ACT For America organized a rally in Kansas City’s Washington Square park, they were outnumbered by armed Antifa affiliates such as the communist group The Kansas City Revolutionary Collective.
Dressed in black and carrying semi-automatic weapons and ammo, the left-wing radicals said they were also there to meet calls for “self-preservation” against President Trump’s supporters. Kansas City allows limited open carry. Police quickly de-escalated a potential massacre by disarming masked Antifa members who feared having their identities known.
While law enforcement deserves undivided praise for a peaceful handling of the situation, keep in mind that Antifa showed up to support Sharia law and they carried guns. Doesn’t that sound a lot like the Taliban?
Portland Police Attacked
The violence perpetuated by Antifa appears to have taken aim at a new target in Portland, Oregon: law enforcement officers. In previous clashes, the Left-wing radicals commonly assaulted controversial peaceful protestors and squared off when police intervened. Portland was different.
The conservative group Patriot Prayer organized a peaceful march to express their disagreement with liberal policies in the area. The group was founded by Japanese-American Joey Gibson, and has repeatedly disavowed racism as well as dysfunctional liberal policies. Patriot Prayer was in Portland to peacefully protest against Leftist policies that inhibit constitutionally-protected free speech.
Violent criminals from more than 80 Portland-area gangs arrived including Rose City Antifa carrying signs such as “fight the right.” While violent attacks on peace marches are commonplace, the Antifa thugs quickly turned their attack on Portland police officers, hurling smoke bombs, unleashing a fire extinguisher and throwing rocks and other objects at law enforcement.
Officers used pepper spray to subdue the Liberal radicals and confiscated a wide range of weapons. Nine arrests were made, but the immediate targeting of law enforcement officials shows that it’s time to designate these criminals as a Domestic Terror Group and get them off American streets once and for all.
Liberals Elite Support Antifa Violence
The silence of Democratic politicians has been deafening when it comes to Antifa. Biased media outlets have dubbed them “counter-protestors” as if they arrive carrying peace signs and chanting folk songs. In reality, these cowards show up dressed in black with their faces covered. It seems only fitting that members of the liberal elite should also prosper from the carnage in America’s cities and towns.
History scholar and lecturer Mark Bray literally wrote the book on Antifa, and has been making the mainstream media rounds. Of his work “Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook,” he told The Dartmouth in an interview that “it’s been exciting to have my work relevant to contemporary politics.”
The left-leaning historian has not only made bank selling his book, he’s openly condoned Antifa attacks on peaceful protestors. On “Meet the Press” he claimed Antifa members were victims saying, “a lot of people are under attack, and sometimes they need to be able to defend themselves.”
Bray went on to call Antifa’s assaults, vandalism and attack on law enforcement a “legitimate response.” As outrageous as these statements are to law-abiding Americans, it gets worse.
Upon hearing these lawless remarks, Dartmouth College President Phil Hanlon rebuffed Bray’s endorsement of Antifa in a statement that said, “recent statements made by Lecturer in History Mark Bray supporting violent protest do not represent the views of Dartmouth.” He also pointed out that Bray’s position was “contrary to Dartmouth values.”
But this even-minded statement has been met with widespread resentment on the Dartmouth campus. More than 100 liberal Dartmouth faculty members have signed a petition effectively denouncing the president’s stand against violence. In fact, Dartmouth English Prof. Jeffrey Sharlet went as far as to heap praise on Bray, saying, “this is to be applauded. This is work that we need as a nation right now.”
Apparently the river of blood in American communities doesn’t splatter the Ivory Towers these publicly-paid Liberals enjoy.
