Creepy Joe Biden’s greatest asset to the Obama campaign was his seemingly blue-collar, middle-class status. But like many Democrats that reach high office, the former vice president cashed in after leaving office.
After holding a substantial, double-digit lead over the field of more than 20 Democratic Party presidential hopefuls, the left-leaning media has turned its collective back on Biden. Allegations have swirled that he engaged in corrupt practices while acting as Obama’s number two. They include positioning his son, Hunter, on foreign boards that made the finance novice millions. The Obama-era vice president took his son on Air Force One trips to China and other countries, introducing him to high-level financial leaders.
“Basically, what happens is in 2013, Joe Biden, flies to China to talk to them about very sensitive issues, the South China Sea, talking about trade issues, economic issues. Hunter Biden, his son, is with him on Air Force Two. Okay, that’s fine. That’s great,” Clinton Cash author Peter Schweizer states. “Here’s the problem, ten days after they come back, after Joe Biden takes a pretty soft position towards the Chinese, Hunter Biden inks a — what becomes $1.5 billion deal.”
The process wreaks of the pay-to-play schemes facilitated by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton connected to her family’s “charity.”
Revelations are surfacing even in the liberal media that Biden inappropriately groped women while holding the powerful office. He admittedly counted known segregationists with Ku Klux Klan ties among his closest friends, and voted in lockstep with racists and misogynists. Now that the liberal media has gotten a strong whiff of the real Joe Biden, more and more investigative journalists are doing their job by taking him to task.
The most recent fact-based reports paint the portrait of an Obama-era flunky who pulled down $15 million in his first two years after leaving the White House. In a recent report, the Obama-friendly New York Times mocked Biden’s self-proclaimed “Middle Class Joe” status.
“I know I’m called Middle-Class Joe. It’s not meant to be a compliment,” Biden reportedly said in Kentucky in 2018 despite being a millionaire. “It means I’m not sophisticated. But I know what made this country what it is: ordinary people doing extraordinary things.”
Apparently, Biden used to claim he was the poorest member of Congress. But his exit plan from the Obama Administration in 2016 included a lucrative deal.
“Thanks to six-figure speaking engagements and a lucrative deal to write a set of books, Mr. Biden and his wife, Jill, reported an adjusted gross income of about $11 million in 2017 and $4.6 million in 2018 — far more than any of his major Democratic primary opponents,” the New York Times reports.
The article demonstrates that even liberal media outlets are fed up with Biden’s dark history and wealth at a time when the Democratic Party is pushing socialism, Medicare for All, and what they call “equal pay.” Although the most recent tax returns released by the field of hopefuls shows they all earn substantially more than average Americans, Biden outpaces Sen. Kamala Harris ($1.89 million), and Sen. Elizabeth “Fauxcahontas” Warren ($846,394) to the tune of more than $4.5 million on his last return. During his final year in office, Biden only earned $396,456.
And that fact-based reporting may be one reason that fewer potential voters are taking Biden’s campaign promises seriously. Like other “resist” and “obstruct” Democrats, he’s called for the repeal of the Trump-era Tax Cuts and Jobs Act that lowered corporate taxes and spurred the lowest unemployment in nearly 50 years.
“Ordinary middle-class Americans built America,” Biden once said. “My dad used to have an expression — he said, ‘Joe, a job is about a lot more than a paycheck. It’s about your dignity, it’s about respect, it’s being able to look your kid in the eye and say everything’s going to be O.K.’”
Biden took full advantage of the reduced tax liability under the GOP-enacted legislation. Interestingly, he even reduced his charitable donations from 2017 to 2018 by nearly 75 percent, according to reports.
The 76-year-old Democrat now reportedly owns a $2.7 million vacation home, and charges speaking fees of more than $100,000 per gig. If the left saw Biden as working class hero that could take on President Donald Trump in 2020, they better check their powder. He’s “Middle Class Joe” no longer. Creepy Joe Biden is just another wealthy liberal elitist looking to profit off everyday Americans.
