Pelosi Shows Off Extravagant Wealth While BLOCKING Aid for Americans

House Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s decision to block continued funding for the Paycheck Protection Program seemed bad enough. Then she got on social media to brag about her $24,000 refrigerator and freezer set and shelves full of $13-per-pint ice cream containers, telling mainstream media outlets that her luxurious home and amenities help her to “cope” with the crisis.

“We all have found our ways to keep our spirits up during these trying times. Mine just happens to fill up my freezer,” the Speaker said in tweet showing what looks like the most expensive refrigerator ever made.

The move was so reminiscent of the French aristocracy right before the French Revolution ended their reign that alternative journalists have taken to calling the House Speaker “Nancy Antoinette”.

Naturally, Rep. Pelosi hasn’t bothered apologizing for insulting poor, lower-middle-class, and middle-class Americans who are struggling to pay the rent and put food on the table. To make matters worse, she recently got on Fox News and blatantly told journalists that she doesn’t understand why her fellow citizens are out protesting against the lockdown measures.

“The fact is, we’re all impatient. We all want out. But what they’re doing is really unfortunate,” Pelosi said.

Pelosi’s tone-deaf behavior was met with some well-deserved roasting from conservatives on Twitter.

“While Nancy Pelosi sits in her ivory tower in San Francisco, eating $13 dollar a pint ice cream out of her $24,000 fridge, she is cheering on Democrats for blocking coronavirus relief aid that has so far been distributed to 1.3 million small businesses that is about to run out,” GOP Rapid Response Director Steve Guest posted.

While many people disagree with the protests, but most are able to sympathize. After all, Americans aren’t exactly used to living in what feels like a dystopian nightmare. Apparently, Pelosi’s quarantine experience is very different from what the rest of the country has been going through.

The disconnect between Democrat elites and the people they pretend to care about has always been obvious. In 2016, Hillary Clinton gave a speech on income inequality while wearing a $12,000 jacket. However, the big difference between Pelosi and Clinton is that the twice-failed presidential candidate had no actual power to shape policy. As Speaker of the House, Rep. Pelosi can hold up small business funding indefinitely in an effort to get President Trump to bow to her wishes.

Rep. Pelosi’s ice cream stunt should alarm anyone who realizes that the House Speaker, like many other members of her party, is completely divorced from reality. While Democrat elites pretend that their party cares about the poor, they have no earthly idea what it means to have to actually work for a living.
