President Trump is Right About the “War on Christmas”

The holidays are an important time of the year for many Americans, but in recent years it has become highly unpopular to wish people a “Merry Christmas.”

President Trump wants to bring Merry Christmas back to the citizens of the United States, showing how important the Christmas season should be.

Christmas is the birthday of Jesus Christ, and is celebrated throughout the world. The holiday has been watered down over recent years, as political correctness took over and made it difficult to wish anyone a Merry Christmas without getting sneered at.

Even for those who aren’t religious — the secular traditions associated with the holiday have more than made it inclusive enough for people of all faiths to appreciate.

It is now safe to say Merry Christmas in the United States once again.

A recent Christmas ad has declared President Trump’s war on Christmas a victory.

America First policies created the commercial to thank President Trump for making America great again. In the commercial, there is a series of typical Americans saying thank you to the President of the United States for fixing the economy, cutting taxes and making sure that everyone stands of for the national anthem. America First policies is a non-profit group that was created by former campaign aides of the Trump campaign in an effort to promote the President’s agenda.

As a nation with a large Christian population, bringing back the term “Merry Christmas” during the holiday season has been a relief.

“Merry Christmas” became an offensive term at some point in the past decade — and this was even reflected in our commercial culture. Perhaps the most obvious example comes from companies like Starbucks, who prefer to use a more secular term during the month of December.

“Happy Holidays” became the accepted term, and most people started to shy away from saying “Merry Christmas” no matter where they were. While there are a variety of holidays during late November through early January, the most celebrated one throughout the world is Christmas. Despite the popularity of the Christian holiday, it became taboo to wish anyone a “Merry Christmas” without someone getting offended.

Americans quickly grew tired of this overt display of political correctness, and Trump has capitalized on that sentiment beautifully. Throughout his campaign, one of his biggest promises was that we would be able to say Merry Christmas once again without fear of retaliation. He stated many times over the last year and a half that we “are going to say Merry Christmas in every store.”

This is now true, and Americans are wishing one another a Merry Christmas throughout this Christmas season.

The war on Christmas is more than simply getting people to say Merry Christmas again, it is a movement to bring the true meaning of the holiday back to the forefront.

Christmas isn’t about presents or who can buy more. It’s not about greed, but about kindness. It’s a time for families to enjoy spending time together. To get back to the simple things in life.

Christmas is not a time to fight others in line for the hottest new toy.

This is the time of year when families get together. It’s a time to learn more about the story of Jesus Christ and why we celebrate his birth every year. President Trump is reminding everyone that Christmas is a religious holiday, and those that are truly celebrating should treat the holiday with the reverence it deserves.

It’s time to take a breathe. Time to step back and enjoy all that life has to offer. It’s time to enjoy the love that you have around you and to pay attention to others who might be in need.

President Trump has brought Merry Christmas back, and Christians everywhere are celebrating. This is a time of great joy for Christians and being able to share this joy by saying “Merry Christmas” is what the holiday spirit is all about.
