White Supremacist Richard Spencer Endorses Joe Biden for President

Richard Spencer, a well-known white nationalist credited for coining the term “alt-right”, is backing Democratic nominee Joe Biden for President of the United States.

Spencer had been vocally supportive for Donald Trump back in 2016. At the time, the mainstream media peddled the message that the so-called “alt-right” — a white identitarian movement with expressly racist views — was instrumental in pushing the president to victory. Spencer was also a key figure in organizing the infamous “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, which ended with a violent clash between white nationalists and left-wing demonstrators.

The alt-right leader was vague in his messaging, but seems to suggest that he is disappointed that Trump isn’t the white nationalist enabler he thought he was going to be.

“The MAGA/Alt-Right moment is over. I made mistakes; Trump is an obvious disaster; but mainly the paradigm contained flaws that we now are able to perceive. And it needs to end,” Spencer posted on social media. “So be patient. We’ll have another day in the sun. We need to recover and return in a new form.”

Clearly, Spencer believes that a Joe Biden term will actually help white nationalists gain traction in the future.

Looking at the facts, it’s easy to see why an actual racist like Richard Spencer would have such a big problem with the sitting president. Under Trump’s watch, black and hispanic Americans have thrived — posting the lowest unemployment numbers since researchers began recording them. Ethnic minorities have done very well in the Trump era, and that probably makes racists like Spencer very upset.

So, with Biden earning the support of a committed racist, how soon will the mainstream media ask him to disavow the alt-right? CNN may have to stop booking him for segments first. That might help…
